This clean stylish riding top featuring The Racers Cut is made from three World leading Australian made fabrics. The front of the garment features a special Bamboo derived fabric called Tax Bamboo which absorbs moisture instantly and provides a greater surface area from which the moisture can evaporate from. This improves cooling efficiency, circulation and increased blood flow/oxygen delivery to work muscular tissues. The back features Liquid Titanium Pet 160gm fabric which reflects radiant heat and provides UV protection. The back of the garment also has a protective Tax Bamboo fabric strip running the length of the top covering the spine with the natural Bamboo fibers providing a calming effect.

Under the arms special elasticated mesh panels improve airflow through the garment and coupled with a full length zip giving the rider maximum control and adjustability of air flow for a comfortable ride.

• Titanium Pet fabric (made in Australia) reflects body heat and improves cellular response to lactate acid removal and energy production. The fabric also provides a compression fit to help support muscles and improve venous return to the heart.

For those that demand comfort the Athena Pro Gel Series is the one! The Athena Pro Gel Series Short delivers the ultimate in Comfort and Performance. To make these shorts the most comfortable we chose the very best female specific Gel chamois from our supplier in Italy. We then matched it to our Pro spec shorts pattern which has no inner leg seams to help reduce any chaffing as well as flat-lock seams on all leg panels. The flat-lock seams sit flat with the skin providing a smooth comfortable transition between panels. Finally the short is designed to sit high at the back and low at the front. This is to give the cyclist the optimum fit while riding. With tensioned elastic in the back of the short to hold it up and Athena's Waist System in the front to provide support without cutting into the stomach area.
